Thanks to each choir member for your faithfulness as we have practiced for the presentation of our Easter Music! We are expecting the Spirit of the Father and His Risen Son to be with us as we present it in morning worship on Easter Sunday, April 8th!
And now, Farrington Road, going forward I ask us to "Think Out of the Box."
Using the piano or organ in worship is great...what else can we use? Who of you has a trumpet in a box in the closet, or a flute, or a guitar? Why not get it out of the box and share your gift with the church for the worship of the Lord God? If the instrument or your skill needs "polishing" I can help. Let's see how we can broaden our scope of music this year.
From time to time we will continue to have Mary Ann with her guitar, and from time to time we will continue to use bongos. What else can we do?
If you are interested in singing (once in a while) in a small group, please tell me. Youth - what about sign language or "acting out a song"? There are many things we can add to our worship, but I need YOU.
Our very faithful choir continues to meet weekly. We are growing in number, strength in the Lord, and fellowship with one another. It's a great place to be at 6:30 on Tuesday nights. I am a fortunate director.
